Love Is The Answer

I finally got the chance to explore this site and register.

So, welcome, everyone!!!

I will be leaving for Camarines Sur for a seven-island tour tomorrow. And you can't imagine the excitement that I must be feeling right now. It's really indescribable.

It's only middle of January and here I am, traveling to somewhere I've never been before.

2006 is turning out to be an exciting year.

For this year, rather than resolutions, I have set goals. On top of the list is to explore new places. It doesn't matter whether it's far or near, outside or just within the Metro as long as it's new. 

Am starting things right. I will have to keep up. 

I am back from the seven-(or so)-island tour in Caramoan, Camarines Sur. And it was a hell of a boat ride for three days.

Describing it as a very nice experience is an understatement. Not only because of the places that we explored but more so, the people who made the trip worthwhile.

Thanks to Gov. L Ray Villafuerte for inviting us to explore Cam Sur's sleepy town of Caramoan. It is indeed a marvelous place--almost magical. No amount of photographs or words can describe the mystical effect of the nature trip that I had (together with fellow writer Sandy and photographers Jomari and Teddy).

The trip wouldn't be as wonderful without the very accommodating and gracious tour guide, Nonoy Magtuto (who made sure that we get the best accommodation, sumptuous food and convenient travel within the area). And of course the photographers/explorers who were there every step of the way (pun not intended) giving us information, orienting us about their culture and of course exchanging banter, jokes and TRIVIA; many thanks to Jubay, Jun and Marlon. I also would like to thank the crew who made the sea voyage a success.
